Scarlet sunsets and white picket fences...

There is nothing i love more than a cherry red accessories it is honestly the solution to all your drab colour clothes, just throw on a hairscarf or belt and hey presto!!! its reborn..come to think of it most things i love are red, Roses, Red Velvet Cupcakes, Ladybugs, Red Cordial...and i could keep going forever....

Last week i told you all i picked up a few pieces thrifting on Saturday and here are two of them the gorgeous bow belt and the sailor headscarf..such cute finds..

These past few days have been spent huddled in my office at work with multiple jackets and scarves on its been freezing...even though the sun is out its tricking everyone because its still so COLD.... Its pretty funny really, in Australia our winter is probably the same temp as your summer or spring its always hot here..and you get so used to that!!

Im so so looking forward to Saturday im going to spent it having a coffee date with my girlfriends hitting the city art galleries, eating Passionfruit sorbet in the sun and then hopefully getting a few sewing lessons from my Gran.. whew what a big day!!!!! im also going to search through my Gran's jewellery collection she honestly has the best collection of vintage jewellery she finds them in the randomest places maybe thats where i got my thrifting ability from..hmmm...i wonder??.. I always go over and try on all her pieces..and secretly wish they were mine..

I love this striped blue top it makes me want to hit the high sea's and go on an adventure... the sleeves are a little long but nothing a bit of rolling can't fix i found it while thrifting a while ago but havent worn it yet its just been sitting in my wardrobe all sad and lonely, i was waiting for the right skirt to compliment it..and i think the red works amazingly (if i do say so myself) haha

Also im hoping to have a cute DIY for you all on Monday so keep an eye out...

So go on..get out there and enjoy your day (if its not thunderstorming)!!! dust off your bike or take a walk and find some adventure xx

(Wearing: All Vintage items.. striped navy shirt, Red pencil skirt, Red bow belt, Headscarf & Boston Babes patent heels)
